James Cohen was inducted into the Order of Manitoba in 2024 in recognition of his contributions to the community as a volunteer, philanthropist, business leader, musician and songwriter.

James Cohen and the Prairie Roots Rockers are excited to announce they will be performing with the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra on Saturday, September 25th, 2021 at the Manitoba Centennial Concert Hall. The band will be performing “These Long Nights” as well as a new rendition of “So Long Sweet Deception” featuring Kyle McKiernan on piano who joined the group in 2020.

Americana Music Publishing Announcement
James Cohen recently signed a contract with Americana Music Publishing Inc. whereby he extended rights for 34 of his original songs for commercial use. These Long Nights from his 2011 debut album has already been picked up for use in the movie soundtrack of Gone Tomorrow.
